Jurupa Valley LITTLE LEAGUE COVID-19 Plan
The plan will be reviewed regularly and adjusted for effectiveness or if/when government guidance changes.
● The plan has not been medically reviewed or approved.
● The plan provides guidelines, but we cannot guarantee adherence by all participants at all times.
● Families should make their own choices on participation and the best interests of their family and players.
● The plan is focused on minimizing risk while still allowing for development and fun.
● The best protection for our players and families is for parents to keep players and family members home if showing any symptoms related to COVID-19.
⚾️ Jurupa Valley LITTLE LEAGUE BOARD
• Safety Officer Timothy Nelson will be JVLL's Covid-19 Safety Compliance Officer. Safety Officer Nelson will maintain safety log. Players with symptoms will be sent home, and will be reported to Covid Compliance Officer Nelson who will clear players back to practice.
• Kids considered “At Risk” should have doctor note.
• All parents must sign a waiver.
⚾️ Team Activities
Mask shall be used by:
• Coaches.
• Kids in dugout.
• Parents and Fans are encouraged to wear masks and use hand sanitizer.
• All involved in activities get a pre-screen.
• If someone has symptomology, they need to go home.
• Coaches need to disinfect dug-out and other equipment prior to kids entering and using.
• Parents need to disinfect personal equipment, prior and after team activities.
• Distance 6’ in stands.
• Coaches must have hand sanitizer.
• No shaking of hands or “high fives” at end of activities.
• No Team Snacks.
• No Team Water.
• Catchers need their own gear.
• No sharing of gear, including league gear, only one player can wear the gear during a practice and must be sanitized after use. Save
