2021 Spring Season update

Dear Jurupa Valley Little League Parents,

We hope this email finds you well as we are coming up on almost a year since we have been allowed to play baseball at Knowles. In discussion with our District LL and our board, we have decided to open up registration for upcoming spring season as many leagues around us will be/are doing the same in hopes that Little League games can resume.

Riverside County is currently in a purple tier which doesn’t allow for any games to be played. However, it does allow for teams to practice and/or have intersquad games within the teams themselves. For full resumption of play to start, Riverside County will need to be in the Red Tier for baseball game activities to resume.

We will be opening registration for the upcoming spring season this weekend under COVID protocols which will be posted to the website this weekend as well. Teams will be formed after the registration is closed and practices will begin shortly after. As we do not have a definitive timeline as to when/if games will be allowed to resume, the teams will be instructed to do clinic style practices. If Riverside County is moved into the Red Tier and we are allowed to resume games, Board will meet immediately to discuss scheduling games depending on how far along we are into the practices. We currently would schedule practices and games thru the end of May.

Registration for the season will be $100 across all divisions with NO refunds if games are never allowed to resume. We are eliminating the fundraising requirement that each player is typically required to do in order to minimize outside contact with the public.

Registration fee will cover the following:
Little League Charter Fees/Insurance
Jurupa Parks Player Fees
Field Usage & Lighting
Sanitizing Equipment for the fields
Dry Fit Style Jersey & Hat for Players

For those of you that elected to rollover the $25 refund from the 2020 Spring Registration, we still have the list of players. Please email us at [email protected] to get your unique discount code for the $25 credit that is owed to your account prior to check out.
